Barcelona - The Start of the Disney Cruise

The best part about living overseas is having the opportunity to have a magical vacation! We had planned this trip for over a year, and I am so glad we were able to experience the Disney Magic Mediterranean cruise. The boys were the perfect age, three and five, and enjoyed the trip as much, or even more than we did. Our adventure started by flying into Barcelona two days before the Disney cruise set sail.

We had a three hour layover at Amsterdam airport. The boys played, and we ate lunch at McDonalds.

We finally arrived at the Renaissance Hotel in Barcelona.

The boys were so excited. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and rested up to see cousin Rachel the next morning.

Cousin Rachel and the boys at another hotel closer to the city centre.

View from the balcony.

We were ready to explore the city. Stan and Genny had already been out in the city the day before, so they showed us the sights.

We walked over to the funicular, cable car, which gave us a spectacular view of the city.

La Sagrada Familia, a beautiful church still under construction. Building work began in the late 19th century.

We had dinner outside with a beautiful view of the Barcelona beach.

Brady exhausted after a full first day.

What great photos, you have some lovely ones there with you and all your boys, and Brant and Brady seem very happy to be with their cousin again :)
