Brady loves "Toy Story" and the Buzz and Woody characters! He was excited about all his Buzz stuff. I let him open his Buzz pajamas the night before his birthday. He woke up with the kitchen decorated for his birthday.
Brady loved poking at the Buzz cake, but we didn't actually eat it. It wasn't that yummy. Brady had fun picking all the stars and decorations off the cake.
We sang Happy Birthday and Brady blew out his imaginary candles.
Brady with his other birthday presents. The giant goalie and the Roary ball pit. The boys love to play in the Roary car, but all the Buzz stuff was Brady's favorite.
I can hardly believe it has already been two years since we first brought William Brady home from the Aberdeen Maternity Hospital on a cold snowy Good Friday. Today, the weather was sunny and nice with some cold wind. We celebrated Brady's birthday at the Brechin Castle Centre. They had a fun play area and farm animals.
The boys love tractors, tools, and farm animals; so, this was a good place for them. They found this Bob the Builder ride and had to get on it. They also had riding tractors and sand, more of their favorite stuff.
We might have stayed longer if Stephen had brought a jacket. At least he didn't wear his flip flops. It looked really nice out, but it was still cold with the wind.
Brantley milked the cow.
More of Brady's Birthday Weekend.... Saturday, we went to the Ferryhill Spring Fayre. They had a jumpy castle, an Easter Bunny, a police car, and an ambulance.
I guess Brantley doesn't care to be a policeman when he grows up. He wasn't impressed with the police hat.
Brantley was more excited about making a goal and seeing the Easter Bunny.
After the fair (they spell it fayre here), we headed over to Pizza Hut for lunch. Then we stopped at Codona's for some bowling and a few rides for the boys.
Brady's first time to bowl. He loved it. Brady was so excited that he was skipping around, which is a sure sign he is happy. I didn't get many pictures because my camera was acting up.
Brady's first time to ride this ride all by himself. He used to get really upset seeing his big brother ride all the rides, but he is big enough now!
This is Friday afternoon, and the boys decided to bring down their chairs and hang out in the living room.
The best birthday present of all..... Daddy fixed the green tractor and the boys are sooooooo happy!

Subject: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRADY!!!
Dear Brady,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a big two year old! Two years ago very early in the morning we got a telephone call from Daddy telling us Mama was in the hospital and you were ready to join us. We were so excited and couldn’t wait for Daddy to call back and tell us you were here. Around four hours later we got the call and boy were we thrilled. The bad part was we had to wait until May to meet you when you came to the United States. See, you were born in Scotland a long way
from us. In May, we met you and the whole Hollis family had a party at Stan’s house to celebrate. You were a big, pretty, little baby and we all wanted to hold you. However, you really wanted your Mama and Daddy. Then, on your first birthday last year Pop and Nana got to come to Aberdeen for your party. There were so many children and parents there and you were a cute Prince! We enjoyed the party with your friends and Brantley. Today, you are now
two and have a Buzz birthday cake. We wish we could be there for your day. Have fun with Mama, Daddy, and big
brother, Brantley.
Enjoy your bike we gave you for your birthday and remember to not drive it too fast. You really looked like a little “hot rider” in the picture Mama sent. Be sure to keep your tongue in your mouth so you won’t bite it!!! You reminds us so
much of your Daddy when he was a little boy riding his bike and big wheel. Watch out for cars and be careful!
Brady, you are the baby of the grandchildren, and we have enjoyed you so much. We like to play cars with you on the race track, do vocabulary cards, go to the mailbox, play ball, and see you ride the tractor and the other riding toys. We
will really be glad when your family moves back to Houston so we can see you more often.
Have a wonderful birthday and remember that Pop and Nana love you very much. May God bless and keep you forever.
HUGS AND KISSES,
Nana and Pop
