Houston Christmas 2011

We had another great Christmas! It was fast and packed with fun. We crammed in all our family activities, plenty of eating, a little shopping, and generated a lot of miles going from the North to the South side of Houston almost every other day.

Dave is the man for inviting us to the game. It was fun seeing the Aggies win a bowl game from a suite. The Aggies beat North Western!


My parents and I enjoyed a gorgeous day at the Houston Zoo with the boys. Stephen spent the afternoon with his friends having lunch and catching up.













After the zoo outing, we had dinner with Nana and Pop at Texas Roadhouse.

Big Kirby sitting pretty for a treat. Someone needs to tell Kirbster to lay off the treats this year! Big Boy Kirby turned eight years old in Novemeber.

Thank you for a great time! We appreciated all the food and hospitality. We had our fill of steaks, breakfast jacks, pigs in a blanket, hamburgers, chips and queso, turkey and dressing, fajitas, and much much more. I think we are starting to look a little like Kirby, but it was fun and worth every minute. I didn't even mention re-doing my parents' guest room for the boys. Thanks for all the help with the bunk beds. Yes, it was a busy two and a half weeks. I hope your lives are filled with the peace of Jesus this New Year 2012!
